Which welfare interventions are cheap and robust under deep uncertainty?

Welfare

Why it’s still open

A few low-cost measures exist in practice (exit options, weight preservation, deprecation interviews, wellbeing-raising inputs), but evidence on their effects is thin and most of it comes from lab posts rather than peer-reviewed work.

What would count as an answer

Interventions with measured effects on welfare proxies, low cost, and no known harm under the main competing views — plus agreement that they set good precedent.
